4) How did the Photographer get his/her start?
He doesn't say.
5) What is it about Photography that the Photographer finds inspiring?
He finds ways to photograph pain and suffering and portray exactly what the solider was feeling at the time.

Social, he uses photography to show human nature and different types of suffering people go through whether it's physical or emotional.

Don doesn't exactly discuss either. He explains how photographing war on the battle field can be very hard. He says that no matter how much he wishes he could change the things that happen to those people, he has no power and he just does his job because he learns more and more everyday about the planet and society we live in.

The photographer photographs people and makes the situation come to life. Also, he loves doing landscape photos. He finds it inspiring and beautiful.
11) What motivates the Photographer to keep taking photos?
Don states that he doesn't want to be remembered as the "war photographer" he creates landscape pictures that inspire people and thats how he wants to be remembered.
12) What is it about the Photographer's work that YOU find compelling?
I find it compelling that he has to put himself through that and see people dying and suffering in front of him and he doesn't give up. He does his best work to photograph events in history no matter how it affects him.
